I was twenty years old when I boarded my first plane to another country. From the moment I disembarked in Bangkok, Thailand I was a changed person. So many of the expectations I had of what it meant to live were challenged (vegetable markets on water….whaaaaaaaaaaat?!?).
The sheer magnitude of the population of similar looking people astounded me. I stuck out like a sore thumb! Not only were they were shocked by my height; the number of times my hair was touched daily still amuses me!
As it turns out, I was a novelty to them too!
Ever since that trip in 1998, wanderlust has been calling my name! I have been answering every call jubilantly! My adventures are inspired by many different things. Luckily, I have a tribe that is willing to do just about anything too!

I have lived many lives and stood in many shoes. My personal values, world views, and daily choices reflect them all. I’m pretty confident I can bring you along for the ride of your lives by sharing some of the stories from my adventures!

Chandra Griffin is currently working at attempting to claim her identity back after 10 years as a stay at home Mom. She earned her bachelors degree in psychology with an emphasis in genetics from Texas A & M University.
Chandra has a passion for literacy, education and supporting women. She has a talent for writing, organization, and event planning.
Chandra’s hobbies include reading, biking, and crafting. Her favorite thing to do is read enthusiastically to preschoolers in the hopes of inspiring them to love reading.
Given any spare time, Chandra will plan a trip to somewhere new with her husband and two kids.
